Product Manager
Summary
Alma Lasers North America is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager to join our Clinical Development team within the Marketing Department. As a Product Manager, you will play a crucial role in developing product strategy, lifecycle management, and market success for a portfolio of devices. This position involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to develop, market, and support innovative solutions that meet market demands while fulfilling clinical, regulatory, and business requirements.
Essential Functions

· Own technical product knowledge (including creating and maintaining product documentation) and supporting cross-functional teams regarding products and their capabilities
· Define and drive product strategy, vision, and roadmap based on market research, competitive analysis, and customer needs
· Work closely with R&D, engineering, and project team leaders to translate clinical and customer needs into technical specifications
· Collaborate with regulatory and marketing team to ensure product strategy aligns with healthcare regulations (FDA, Health Canada)
· Manage the product lifecycle from ideation and development to launch through to end-of-life
· Oversee product updates, enhancements, and phased-out products to ensure relevance and competitiveness in the market
· Gather feedback from customers, providers, and key opinion leaders to continuously improve the product and address user needs
· Engage with stakeholders to align on product goals, timelines and priorities
· Provide support to the commercial teams with training, product information, and positioning strategies
· Provide effective project management skills, including product backlog management, sprint planning, and elaboration of tasks, projects, and operational needs
· Stay informed on aesthetic medical device industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies in the industry and adjacent markets

· Outstanding written and verbal communication, presentation, and leadership skills
· Excellent organizational and project management skills
· Strong knowledge of the product development process with strategic problem-solving skills
· Self-starter with a strong ability to multi-task and work under pressure
Education and Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience
· 5 – 7 years of experience in a product management role or similar function
· Knowledge of medical device requirements with experience collaborating with R&D, Regulatory, Clinical, Sales, and Marketing teams preferred
Skills Required
· Positive attitude and approach to the job responsibilities and the Alma team
· Microsoft applications (MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
· Cloud-based application familiarity (Google Workspaces/drive, Dropbox, Wrike)
· NetSuite and Salesforce experience preferred
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no direct reports but assists in mentoring peers and other departments as needed.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment (on-site and off-site, supporting company events and external stakeholder offices such as medical practices). This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Travel
This position requires 30-40% travel as needed.
